My understanding is that the grading price is based on the valuation of the card. If you submit it then the price to grade it would probably be a bit more if you're looking for a numerical grade. I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that a Cy Young that looked that nice wasn't trimmed, then it would be high grade and the grading cost would be a bit more than just disclosing it as trimmed. Anybody else want to weigh in?
For the people that know - what happens if you submit a card for grading thinking it's a high grade and pay the fee for grading a high grade card and then PSA says, no, it's trimmed. Will PSA reimburse the grading fee for the difference in submission cost between a high grade card and an AUTH card? Edited to add - I don't mind a trimmed card like this if the price is right. How much are you looking to get for the card?
