If you click on the link and it brings you to the eBay listing, and if you go to 'SELLERS OTHER ITEMS', there's one of Ruth alone listed at $4500 which to me looks a little too identical to the Ruth signature on the postcard with Gehrig; hard to imagine that when one signs their name, that it is an exact flawless copy of their signature on a different item. Moreso, one who has diligently practiced someone's signature is more likely to reproduce it exactly.
Also, I'm far from being an expert but the Gehrig looked like a try at a perfect autograph. |
