Hillerich and Bradsby out of Louisville owned the Louisville Slugger brand and produced those bats in factories in Kentucky and Indiana. Around 2005 they sold most of their business to Wilson but still operate the Louisville Slugger Bat Museum in Louisville (worth a visit if you are ever there) and still produce bats for Wilson in a factory in which the museum resides. They used to have a historian of sorts on payroll. Not sure if they still do. You might contact the Museum and see if they can put you in touch with someone who can help you with info on that advertising piece
One other poster here, quitcrab, has a similar advertising piece and you might contact him about possible value. H&B also produced a line of baseball glove cards and some of the scarcer ones can be pricey. There are usually some listed on ebay. But unfortunately they have not maintained a full checklist |
