There was a near set (missing one) of 48 cards in Lipsets last auction April 24 lot 25, and they are all hand cut from a sheet, and rather crudely, and the 3 cards shown (Ruth, Cobb, WJohnson) are all wavy and different sizes. So there are or were uncut sheets floating around for this set. I have one myself that I always thought was trimmed, but I guess it is from a sheet like this too. Mine is obviously cut on all sides, and not too carefully, as it can easily be seen with the naked eye. Frank |
