Default Baseball Stained Glass

Posted By: Max Weder

Carried on as a new thread from the undoctored Cobb thread

The stained glass comment leads me back to an ebay posting a number of years ago. The seller was listing some item, but had some fantastic pictures of stained glass windows with a baseball motif, that he said were taken from Johnny Kling's hotel in Kansas City. Despite my best efforts, he said they were not for sale (why did he post them, I asked?). I saved the pictures, then took them to a local stained glass artisan, who replicated (with his artistic differences) a stained glass window which now graces one of our windows. I don't have the Kling hotel jpgs anymore, as I lost them in a computer crash. If anyone saved the Kling glass photos, I'd love to see them again.

Here's the copy the local artist made. (Sorry about the quality of the photo, but it's hard to take with all the back lighting from outdoors--someday I'll read the manual to my camera and figure out how to take these type of pictures)
