vintage Babe Ruth misprint/error card... junk?
Posted By: Paul
Hello everyone, I am new to this forum and just by reading some posts I see that there are some very knowledgable vintage card collectors in here. About a month ago, I was given a box of old baseball cards, and in it was a vintage prw-ww2 babe ruth card. it appears that the printing press screwed misprinted a layer of color on the card, its hard to describe so here is a scan I made of the card. My question is, does the card hold equal value as the same card without the misprint? Does this make it rare? I'm not too sure what I have got here and I am wondering if its worth holding on to or not. Also, does anyone know what set this card is from? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone for reading this. |
