I am technically illiterate for all practical purposes. Brian does a lot of stuff already. If one of ya'll want to write something up we can post it in the FAQ section. Personally my $40 little flatbed scanner s/w has about 5 size settings...50%, 75%, 100%, 150% or 200%....that pretty much tells what size it will be, relative to whatever I am scanning. I am sure Photoshop or other packages have different, more complex, ways to do it but if there are generic suggestions/instructions please send them to Brian or I and we'll get them posted. I agree that too many times folk's scans are too large....regards |
