Default A cheap Ty Cobb card

Posted By: Keith

Hello all,

I recently started collecting sports cards again, and have focused solely on prewar cards. About 2 years ago I sold my entire collection with a local auction house, only to get the bug again about 4 months ago. My original collection only had 3 prewar cards, a t206 collins, a t205 sam leever, and a t201 Doyle Meyers. I did pretty well with sale of the collection.
Interestingly enough what brought me back to the hobby was me buying another t201 Doyle Meyers card. In fact I think it was the identical one I sold. It was at the same auction house about a 1 1/2 later, and was in what I think was an identical plastic case.
Anyway I have since have purchased several t206, t205, and t201 cards.

During my collecting heydays, I always wanted to get a cobb but never had the opportunity. My question is how cheap could a very low grade Cobb T206 or T205 be gotten. I mean like a poor one, or even possibly a trimmed one.
