No Gil, again you are just wrong.
There are not more trees on this land than ever before.
Wherever concrete and brick and steel covers the earth, before - there were trees and plants and grasses.
Where fires used to burn huge swathes of land, those trees were GENETICALLY EVOLVED through NATURAL SELECTION to have seed waiting in the earth for just such events, and trees sprouted anew in near no time.

Firefighters? Well, who's going to argue firefighters are great? The rest is just mumbo jumbo.
