if that is the case, then the becket people are just plain stupid.the first "card" issued is the FIRST CARD ISSUED.that is open to what each collector views as a card. to me it's his first picture on card board. in pre war card land i think "rookie card" is a seldom used term anyway. but to say a 1933 goudey ruth is a rookie card(1st card) is dismissing all releases prior to goudey releasing their cards on a national scale. modern methods for vintage just don't jive. |
