I went to Elementary School in Coleman, MI, which is where Verne grew up. His Mom and Dad lived about 2 miles from my hous at the time. In any case, Verne's cards were always in great demand with my collecting/trading Friends. Particularly the ones of him in a Tiger uniform. Coleman had a poplulation of around 700 people and he was definatley a home town hero. |
