By that logic, Arlie Latham had the "freshest" nickname in baseball history! Dick Stuart had the strangest, and Don Stanhouse, the most unusual!

You're right, though. Cool Papa--you really couldn't ask for a better nickname! I've heard a number of priceless Cool Papa stories from his post-induction years. The man was quite a character!
