You're right, the Jud Wilson P/C had sold for considerably more than last night in the past years' auctions. I think two factors caused this: first and foremost, as I mentioned in my earlier post, a number of the biggest players in the HOF RC market have gotten out over the past year or two, thus creating less competition and secondly, the economy is very tough right now and people don't have as much discretionary income to spend on baseball cards as they did a couple of years ago. Of course, I think gas prices are the underlying reason behind much of our economic difficulties right now.
