Say what you want about my Orioles, but compare what the Twins got for Santana to what we got for Bedard.
Adam Jones (one of the best young five-tool players in baseball) Chris Tillman (2 ERA in Triple A at age 20, considered future ace) George Sherrill (All-Star closer last year) Tony Butler (Rotator Cuff surgery, but considered a possible closer) Kam Mickolio (Scrub throw-In) That trade alone got Bavasi fired in Seattle. The future is looking bright in Birdland.
