I have to say the same thing I said about an autographed ball on the memorabilia side: does this nitwit seller actually think that a bidder will come along, study the bids, look at the card, and then place a real bid at around $1.3 million? And then does the seller believe he will get this amount of money deposited in his paypal account without any questions or hassles whatsoever?
My point is what does a seller realistically expect from a scam like this? Does he think that even a single dollar will exchange hands? I have to say I find these listings totally baffling. Only an absolute cretin could think he is going to pull this off without a snag. |
