N284's date to 1887, as does this Buchner Gold Coin trade card I recently picked up.
In a more tenuous T-card connection, this trade card was printed by Donaldson Brothers, a lithography firm in the Five Points section of New York City, and one of the four major firms (including the Knapp Company) that consolidated into the American Lithographic Company in 1900.
