Hard to believe that at age 45 I am one of the babies of the group in terms of years collecting. For me, I make a distinction between accumulating cards when I was a kid (mostly in the '70s) and collecting cards (with an eye to value, card condition, eye appeal, completing sets and historical perspective). Having said that, I have been collecting for the past 5 years and have enjoyed sharing the hobby with my family and friends. I no longer have to worry where any disposable income will go. I'll get off the soapbox now.
