There is usually a good reason someone is a 30 year old minor leaguer. No excuses, watching him butcher this game was nauseating but the absence of Billy Wagner was key as well.
This team has been getting it done with bubble gum and duct tape all year. I love the Braves but this is no playoff team. They can't hit, they are mediocre afield and they can pitch on most days. When you get to the playoffs you are going against the best everyday, they have officially turned back into a pumpkin. Congrats Bobby Cox on probably your best managing job ever. Here's one he picked up:
