Got to be this......when I got this card I started selling most of my pre-war collection because they just seemed to not compare to this card. This was the card I had wanted since 1983, at age 12, when I saw a picture of one (with a Famous & Barr back) in a "Baseball Cards" magazine that featured a small Ruth checklist. After school I started the quest to find one at a good price but most were in auctions (and in higher grades....I often wondered if it existed in lower grade....LOL). Bid on a couple in auctions and lost out then finally found one for sale that I liked and here it is.......finally
