I was very disappointed today, not just in the poor selection of pre-war cards or the lack of knowlege of those dealers with them but the massive volume of modern cards being gobbled up by 9 year olds with their fathers. Seems like a magificent waste of money, in my opinion. Hopefully I won't sound like a vintage snob but how do people collect these new cards? They literally gave me a headache today. I actually saw a card today with glitter on it. Glitter!?! Could you imagine Ty Cobb's reaction if he saw his image on a shiny glittery hologram card?
