FYI....T206 SOVEREIGN set confirmed lists....UPDATED
This is the 3rd of 15 threads that will provide the most up to date lists of the confirmed cards with the various T206 backs.
OK folks....here is a major T206 sub-set consisting of 402 different cards that you can COMPLETE. It is quite affordable, and all 402 cards are not too tough to find. There are 122 subjects (from a full 524-card T206 set) that were not printed for the SOVEREIGN set. These NO-PRINTS are identified in their respective series breakdown as follows.  .  150 SERIES......consists of 150 cards with the "150 Subjects" back......the NO-PRINTS are: Crawford (throwing) ...... Note: this Crawford is found with a SOVEREIGN 350 back only. Jennings (portrait) ........ Note: this Jennings is found with a SOVEREIGN 350 back only. Lundgren (Cubs) Magie Plank Honus Wagner 350 SERIES......consists of 204 cards......the NO-PRINTS are: Abstein Adkins Arrellanes Barbeau Barger Becker Bliss Brashear Bresnahan (bat) Burchell Charles Clark Clymer Collins (Minn.) Cross Davidson Delehanty (Louisville) Demmitt (New York American) Dessau Dorner Downey (fielding) J. Doyle (N.Y. Nat'L) Elberfeld (portrait-Washington) Engle Evans Fletcher Freeman Ganzel Graham (St Louis AL) Gray Groom Hayden Hoffman (St Louis AL) Hunter Jones (portrait Detroit) La Porte Lattimore Lord Lundgren (Kansas City) Maddox Maloney Marshall Mattern McAleese McBride McElveen McLean Milan Miller (Pittsburg) Mullen (portrait) Murray (bat) Myers (bat) Nattress Phillippe Puttman Rhodes Ritter Rudolph Schirm Schlafly Schreck Shannon Sharpe Snodgrass (bat) Starr Willett 460 SERIES......consists of 46 cards......the NO-PRINTS are: Kleinow (Boston) Smith (Chicago & Boston) The 48 Southern Leaguers are NO-PRINTS. And, the St. Louis variations are NO-PRINTS...... Demmitt (St Louis American) O'Hara (St Louis Nat'l) Furthermore, the 6 super prints were also printed with the SOVEREIGN 460 back. A set that includes these cards is complete with 408 cards. NOTE....these 6 super-prints with the SOVEREIGN 460 back are very difficult to find (relative to all the other SOVEREIGN cards). Shown here, are the color variations of certain cards with SOVEREIGN 350 backs. The next post here will explore this color difference. And, identify the 66 cards that were printed with these "apple green" colored backs. .....  ..............apple green backs  ...............normal green back Two updates........ The 350 SERIES list has been updated to reflect my inadvertent omission of Downey (fielding) being a SOVEREIGN 350 series NO-PRINT. The 150 SERIES list has been updated to reflect Art Martineau's input regarding the Crawford (throwing) being a NO-PRINT with a SOVEREIGN 150 back.
