I wouldnt buy one right now, there is a glut of suspicious ruth signed balls out there, that need time to be sorted out. It's basically trusting an opinion of people you respect. Only a few balls are lock solid, beyond reproach, after that you have to educate yourself or take someone elses word for it, or a combinatino of both.

haulsofshame.com is doing a 10 part series - Operation Bambino about Babe Ruth signed balls. an eye opener.
