March birthday guy....Ed Willett....show us some of his various cards
Edgar Willett was born in Norfolk, VA on March 7, 1884. His best season was 1909, he won 21 games (with a 2.34 ERA). Along with George Mullin and Ed Summers,
Willett played an important role in Detroit winning the AL Championship in 1909. I will start this show with his following T-cards.......... . Some times mistaken for Ed Willett, this OBAK card depicts Roy Willett. Who was also a pitcher....but, no relation to Ed Willett. Ed Willett is pictured on a lot of cards and related items....so, show us some of yours ? TED Z |
