Just last week I was able to find, for only $2, a complete factory set of the inaugural issue from Score. This groundbreaking set features many action photos, full color backs including another player photo, an included 56 trivia magic motion cards!

But my best deal was probably a lot of 1983 topps cards I got off of ebay one night last year. For some reason the seller did not list in the title the Ripken rookie or the two HOF pre-war cards included in the photo. The winning bid was more than I'd pay for ink-stained '83s, but much less than what the other cards were worth. It was only a few months into my pre-war collecting days and I had already gotten great deals on a Gold Medal Foods Medwick and a couple other ones. I thought getting good deals was going to be easy. Now I think it was beginners luck.
