That was quite a surprise to see it posted here unexpectedly. It's hanging on my wall, and is the only one known to exist. I doubt that another example will turn up (anytime soon, anyway).
The graphics are embroidered, as opposed to screened on, and (remarkably) it remains in NRMT condition. Its a huge oversized pennant, typical of those manufactured in the early teens. Sorry I cannot part with it just yet, but if you want to PM or email me with your contact info, I will retain that for future reference. If the financial outlook changes, you just never know... Ps. Mike and I pretty much just guessed at the valuation for the Book (based largely upon sales of other oversized pennants of the era). Since there are no other known examples, who knows what it's really worth? |
