I'm with Fred.... although God knows I'm considerably younger than he ..... I grew up watching the Wednesday night and Friday night fights on TV. My old man took me to many fights (and wrestling matches) at Sunnyside Arena (Queens)and Madison Square Garden in the late '40s and 1950s. Even saw a number of great gym fights in Brooklyn back then
