Typical Ebay Fees on a low cost card.

I recently sold a card through Ebay and wanted to keep track of all fees and costs involved with selling the card. Here are the details:

I sold the card for $77.11 plus $5.00 for S/H. Total: $82.11

EBAY
Bold Listing: $2.00
Gallery Plus: $.35
Final Value: $6.94
Final Value on shipping: $.45

PayPal
Final Fee: $2.68

S/H
Post Office: $4.65

Total Fees: $17.07 or just under 21% of sale price

In the end, if I wanted to make a 25% profit on this card, I would have had to bought it for less than $52.01. Just a little reality for those of us who not only collect, but also try to turn a profit every once in awhile.
