Not really. When I was active selling I sold a lot of different things. China, Harley parts, cards, camera stuff, books, old stereos, old industrial stuff....Pretty much anything I found at yard/estate sales or flea markets that I thought was underpriced.
And yes, the occasional thing I bought on Ebay and sold for much more than I paid. Usually because the item description when I bought it was very poor, or the pictures were awful and I took a chance. (I've also got a "few" cartons of stuff I was wrong about) I never resorted to BS stories, and always had good photos and a description that was short on hype and actually described the stuff.
