Jeff, that's an amazing Aaron. It is certainly one of the nicer examples I have seen. I own one as well but mine is no where near as pretty as yours.

I have very little focus and an extremely eclectic approach to collecting. As a result I find it difficult to contribute to these types of threads. My baseball collection is all over the place. I collect autographs, original photos, game used items, stadium pieces, baseball advertising, pre-war/post war cards, and memorabilia. Although I have quite a few cards, if limited to four selections, my favorite items (cornerstones) would not likely be cards. It would be easier to identify my four favorite items from each genre. Otherwise such a task is like asking me to pick my favorite child.

Great cards, all. Love the '54s!

Not my most valuable '52, but my favorite. Iconic pose, mind blowing colors, pure unadulterated Americana.

Default Corner Stones

Everyone has seen my favorite Mantles by now. Here are three (ignore the Ruth) of the other cornerstones of my collection:

Default 4

Well, you've said 4 so here they are...

Since its playoff time, only real modern card I own but a big pgh pens fan. Interestingly enough this card probably has appreciated more in value than any of my vintage...

Default Cornerstone

Since I am a set collector I really don't have just one card to show....but I appreciate seeing all of the cards guys.

Patrick I have always enjoyed the '56 Topps Mantle. Did you ever notice the guy in the suit appear on the front of the card twice? The background was duplicated when they made the card. I also believe the ball was moved as well.

Nice cards...
