Why should one be surprised if you send the same card to the same company for grading, that it would likely receive the same grade?
I fully understand that a different grade (higher or lower) is a possibility as an element of subjectivity is involved, but that would not be my expectation. I would hope that the grading criteria are applied consistently enough so that the same grade would be a more common occurrence than a different grade. I do not think the equipment shown below is used by the reputable grading companies, but I'm sure some would differ with me.
