This is the first pre-war card I bought. It was back around 1980, when I was 13 years old. I agreed to pay $75 dollars for it but told the seller I would have to have my Mom get the money out of my bank account and bring it back to him.
When my Mom found out how much I paid, she was upset. But since I was mowing grass and it was my own money I was spending, she couldn't do much about it. The next night, she came home from work with the card. She talked to the guy and got him to take only $50 for it. Not the rarest or most valuable card in my collection but the one I remember most and the one I woulod probably sell last if I had to sell everything..... As far as the speck, I don't see it on my card. David
