from what I can make out the embossing or imprint on the paper says "rondack" (which looks like theirs more to the name) "bond co." "made in usa". If anyone has any info about this it would be greatly appreciated. If I could find more info about the paper id feel better so i know if its of the period.

"rondack" is possibly "Adirondack"
There was a Strathmore Paper Company that had a brand "Adirondack" http://books.google.com/books?id=DhA...0paper&f=false
