For those who mentioned Jaco Pastorius, I just saw some cool news plus a basketball card-related sighting.
Robert Trujillo, bassist for Metallica, is currently working on a documentary based on the life and death of Jaco. One of the graphical banners on the website has some Jaco cards, and they're based on designs from '70s Topps basketball cards. Pretty cool...
