I don't get the card companies thinking. What a waste
I saw this on Ebay and it just baffles me the crap these card companies do to destroy items. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2012-Leaf-Sp...#ht_776wt_1124 Even though it isn't a high priced item and just a Perez Steele card I don't see the thrill in owning it. No desrespect to the guy selling it but it's a 35.00-50.00 at the most when it isn't cut up so why would you buy one cut up when you can own a perfect one for less than the price listed. I know it has been talked about before and I have seen examples others have posted but why the card companies think this is a cool item to sell amasses me. What even more amasses me is the idiots that buy this stuff.

I totally agree. The card companies destroy some nice stuff. But its all about making money to them.As long as people buy it,they will keep doing it.

It scares me to think there are people who actually want to buy this and obviously someone has.

Nevermind the destroying other objects aspect, those cards look sh***y. Why even bother when the product looks that way? I mean do collectors really want a signed image of Cano's ass?
Not that there's anything wrong with that...

I totally understand. I would have expected something nicer - like a cut or at least signed card.

I couldn't agree more. They look like crap. Cropped signatures on a photo of someone's arm or crotch.... Or DiMaggios face chopped off at the jaw. I can't imagine anyone looking at this junk and thinking it is desirable.

They cut up cards as well. Most look like this, which if popped out of the case would frame up ok. Last edited by SikSyko; 03-13-2014 at 10:30 AM. |
