Stanesq, did you pick up either Dressen signed Topps card in last night's Clean Sweep session ? If not, I would not be surprised to see either, or the signed 1965 high number show up on Quality Autographs and Memorabilia of Virginia website in the coming weeks. Kevin has an eye for tougher signed gumcards and has acquired items from Clean Sweep auctions before.

I suspect the 1965 Topps hi number was alittle rich for both of us. But given the late season distribution and limit number of these cards signed by Dressen, it did not surprise me.

Personally, I thought the 1966 Topps card sold quite low, but I have no one to blame but myself. I set a fairly low max bid due to the inconsistancies in the signature. As noted by another Net54 member, Dressen'ss signature remained fairly strong even after his heart attack. Could have been issues with the pen I suppose. Missed opportunity; perhaps. But today is a new day.
