Here's another one of those Sweet Cap backs that American Litho. (ALC) mis-printed the overprint.
I love this kind of stuff. For it reveals to us "T206 dudes" that ALC indeed had 350/460 series Sweet Caporal 460 Factory #30 cards printed to go. But, the anticipated transfer of Sweet Caporal cigarette production to the Liggett & Myers plant (Durham, NC, Factory #42) due to ATC's divestiture in 1911 changed the course of events. .![]() TED Z . |
