I have seen tickets with tape slabbed as authentic, signed cards slabbed as authentic (dual meaning I guess for auto and card grade), and I've attached an example of a Ruth with tape slabbed as Authentic (with apologies to whomever owns the Ruth). So yes, they will.
If it does not bother you, I guess go for it. As for me, I would prefer the card without tape. Have you tried SGC or Beckett?
