Agreed Dez! Football sets are affordable and relatively easy to collect compared to their baseball counterparts of the same era. The retro moderns I'll probably steer clear of, but like the 1959 Canadian Football.
Already started a '58 set that I'll collect in the same manner; trade for commons/minor stars, ebay HOF's, and pick up Jim Brown, Johnny Unitas, and Bart Starr via auction house. The 1957 set is one of my absolute favorites and looms large on the horizon. |
