Can you look at it with a loupe? I've noticed that most pre-printed signatures on cards can be detected by looking at it under a loupe and the printed signature will show as dots/pixels like the old TV screens used to when you looked closely (the tri-color pixel/dots). I'm sure there's a technical term for it, but I don't know what it's called.
