That's in really nice condition for one that was used.
The 1890's stuff always does well if it's presentable, the bike guys have discovered originality as opposed to restored. And since nice bikes are harder to come by all the time there's more interest in original accessories. Sadly that means the days of picking up really cool stuff for very little are mostly gone. But it also means that the REALLY cool stuff is now expensive enough for the people who have it to get it out and sell it. The team only aerodynamic stuff I go after has basically become unavailable. Too rare, too beat for the racers who had some to keep, and recently way too expensive for me. Steve B |
