I think if there was a better shot of him that had a bit more of a connection to a specific sport, I'd be more inclined. That famous shot of him sitting in the chair looking like a pugilist (http://assets.fightland.com/content-...456/teddy3.jpg) would be great. I mean, I know he loved baseball, but I think for me, some sort of visual connection needs to be there.
As ridiculous as it may sound, something like this could even work:  (And for the record, I'd LOVE to paint Mr. Met.)
