Was just talking about this topic with a buddy/collector. We were saying the simple fact is that prices are rising, and some guys are just bitter and angry over it. Bitter and angry because they either...
A) Can't afford the card(s) they want. B) Didn't pony up in the past, for whatever reason. C) Sold their cards in the past, and can't move on/let it go. This anger and bitterness colors lots of posts and theories. It is really nothing more than that. Some human beings will complain when it is raining and when it is sunny. They are the unhappy ones. The happy ones don't care if a baseball card goes up a few thousand dollars. Just build a collection you love looking at. The old K.I.S.S. principle.
