I just purchased a collection of 100+ T206's and a few had this back stamping. Anyone know if this is the back stamping of a familiar old time collector? Much appreciated

			Hi Bob

Here is one I had with a similar colored stamp. Powers is on the front of this card. I acquired this card back in the 1980's. I've seen several T206's with this purple ink stamp. Some are Letters and others are Numbers. ![]() TED Z . Last edited by tedzan; 08-09-2016 at 05:13 PM. Reason: Correct typo. |

A board member has created a great site that tracks stamped T206. I don't see an H:

Thank you Ted and Bryan, I will check out the site. I have 4 with the purple h stamp and it actually shows on the site but not attributed to anyone. I guess it remains a mystery.

There were all kinds of stamps put on cards, for various reasons, back in the day. Mostly they look like the owner's marks of possession, to me.
