			They are the only MLB player managers still living. It's been 30 years since Rose was the last one. |

			We'll probably never see another one. The field manager's job has become so compartmentalized and tricky, it is really too much to expect a guy to deal with it, while at the same time producing as a bench player. Some of the guys on those cards had plenty of trouble with it, especially handling other players and the media.
