Or you can use a Firefox browser with "ABP - Ad Blocker Plus" for free.
These reference sites have to pay the bills, so you can't really fault them for trying to get paid. My favorite boxing site "Boxrec.com" went that route years ago, to the point I was consistently getting malware from their ads every time I used the site for research. "ABP" cleaned it right up, and I was able to use the site effectively again.
