Good luck Dumbo
Be careful what you wish for. Good luck competing against Alabama, Auburn, and LSU....By the way, you are taking the coaches with you, right?

I'm guessing he thinks at this point 2 of the three of those are easier to beat than Clemson. Plus a guaranteed 75mil makes it an easy choice.

Fisher already has a national championship on his resume, just signed a contract for $75 million guaranteed and he's the "dumbo?"
He got himself a raise of two million a year over what he was making at FSU. |

But back to topic - Jimbo Fisher is not the first coach (and this is not limited to college football) to be great somewhere (National Championships are "great", even by the Net54 experts' standards...I hope) and then be not-so-great. Sometimes such coaches re-vamp their careers elsewhere, as do players. So precedence says it could work out for him. Having said the above, I believe Fisher will suck at Texas A&M - A&M is a black hole for good coaches to get sucked into, never to revive. It is also a black hole for not-so-good coaches to enter to be proven that they are not-so-good.

And the correlations go both ways. When the SEC loses their bowl games (Not BCS), it's because they don't care. When they win, it's because of how great they are. |

Actually, I agree with your assessment.
I would have put Ohio State in over Alabama. You can only put in four teams and you have five major conferences - at least take four of the five conference champions. If that was a rule you would have far less arguing - especially this year. You could also add a play-in game to allow the worst two conference champs to play for the #4 seed. If Notre Dame wants to play they can join a conference.

Ohio State can't beat Alabama....no way in hell.......maybe they should expand.

Possibly, but last year I would have said there was no way Clemson could beat Alabama.

One of the most overrated coaches ever! He inherited his Championship team from other recruiters...He's a sack of garbage IMO
