Good luck on your sets. I think you and I might be the only vintage football collectors on here. I wish there were a site like this but for football guys.
I've been looking for the exact same years (1955-1962) and haven't gotten a single person to offer up anything. Even checking ebay, there's very few football starter lots and sets. The ones that are available are grossly overpriced.

I totally agree with you, Been tough finding cards that I need. Lately I have been going to the local card show every month and doing pretty well. Good Luck to you as well!

Thanks. I don't have the luxury of a card show (nearest one is nearly 3 hours away), and the local card shop charges high BV for any singles they sell. So I'm running into a wall about what to do with vintage football. I guess I'll just keep plugging away. I like that the sets are only about 150ish cards, so relatively small (compared to baseball anyway). So makes it feel like it's a goal I can attain.
Anyway, if I come across anything I don't need, I'll keep you in mind. Thanks again. Quote:

The local card show monthly is about 45 min away and there is a ton of vintage football. I know all the dealers so I normally get some really good deals!
