I'm posting photos of two cards: 1948 Bowman Musial and 1910-11 Sporting Life Miller Huggins.

I'll take any and all opinions on whether these appear legit. DBZeI9IA.jpg fivrQg7-.jpg zuNYnDCQ.jpg h1BL3L11.jpg

Wow, that Huggins is razor sharp and looks too good to be true assuming it measures correctly.

Just for fun, what's the price of the card?

The Musial looks good to me. Can’t opine on the Huggins.

For me, I don’t know that I could give an opinion from a photo. Most of the repros floating around today fool a lot of people in person. I would have to be able to hold it and put it under magnification and possibly compare it to an original. A photo is very difficult to tell the details that I would need to see. My best advice is to purchase if there is a good refund policy then check it out in person and take it to someone who can offer a back up opinion also. Personally I am leery of cards that old and that nice that are being sold raw.

Thanks, all. The seller decided to have these graded, so we'll know in a few months!

I was a bit mum as to questions since a friend of mine was looking at these cards and didn't want to put any other collectors on his same trail just yet. Price was essentially "make an offer," which I USUALLY associate with fakes, but I really did think the Musial looked good. (As for the Huggins, I don't have any cards from back then and wouldn't really trust my judgement.) Jason
