| Stamped Pre-War Baseball Cards, etc...

Stamps on cards add a bit of interest for many collectors (but not all ). Here is a neat Sunday School blotter of Mel Ott, circa 1940s, with a Lutheran Church stamp on front. It found its way back from the first collection; funny how that happens. "Show one if ya' got one."

interesting stamp on this one...it says: "Nat's Play/ News Depot/ Cigars Tobacco & Can.../ Shoe Repairing/ Nat Huntington/ Blissfield, Michigan". Perhaps the "Can..." is for Candy? Here's a link to Mr. Huntington's obit: https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/...ton-huntington

Here a few from a collector long ago named Russell W Sewall who apparently liked to try different brands, or he was a kid collecting baseball men from older smokers at the time. .

Nice cards, guys. Of particular ones I really like is Scott's Blanke Wenneker (E104) Mack. It is hard to find presentable, yet nices, such as that one. Here is a different kind of stamped back. (always interested in attaining more)
