Yes.... I believe the author was a fellow who previously posted quite often on the Memorabilia side. Seems like it was roughly 3 - 4 years ago, in which he actively posted here. He answered loads of questions that people had thrown at him, and had done extensive research.

He was extremely knowledgeable on the subject, and could easily identify fake autographs, based on the dates of players' deaths and years that the balls were manufactured.

His name may have been Brandon or Brendan. Can't quite recall, but perhaps a net54 search will turn up his posts. Best of luck!
